Straight about your information.

Next Gambit collects the details you choose to send through an enquiry or Deal Room conversation so David Parry can respond to your request. We do not sell personal information.

Where an enquiry started

On public pages, we temporarily remember a page identifier, supported campaign labels and a broad arrival category in this browser tab. If you submit an enquiry or Deal Room conversation, those details can be saved with it so David can understand which work or campaign brought you here. A known search or social site may be named, but that category is an inference from the browser's referrer and does not prove an unpaid visit. We do not use this feature to store your browsing history on other websites, full referring URLs, referring search queries, click IDs or arbitrary address-bar parameters. You can disable browser storage and still use the form.

Website measurement

We use Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics to understand anonymous website usage, such as pages viewed, broad traffic source and interactions with site links. These tools may use cookies or similar identifiers. We do not intentionally send names, email addresses, phone numbers or enquiry text to Google Analytics.

You can limit Google Analytics measurement with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, or manage cookies in your browser.

Gambit Companion and business email

With David's Google authorization, Gambit Companion and the private Next Gambit portal have read-only access to david@nextgambit.com.au. This connection may appear as Hades on Google's consent screen. Gambit checks recent incoming mail to show notifications and summaries. It stores the sender, subject, date and short message preview on David's computer. The portal checks for replies to Next Gambit outreach and stores those matching details in its private data store. Neither feature sends email or changes Gmail messages.

When David asks Gambit a question, recent email summaries and website enquiry details can be sent to OpenAI to generate an answer. Routine mail checks do not send email content to OpenAI. David can manage or revoke the Google connection in his Google Account. For questions about stored information or a deletion request, contact david@nextgambit.com.au.
